Changes

It is interesting to repeat an experience and observe how things have changed.

I reflect back on my last R & R cruise and compare it to now.

Certainly my hair has thinned.

My energy level is a little less than the first trip.

Obviously, some of the chemo side effects have taken more hold. Hello bowels!

I have more trouble figuring out which direction to head on the ship for the various activities.

I sometimes walk right by our room.

But my mind seems to be otherwise functioning fairly quickly.

Tonight was a classic. I walked by my room and the room steward, who was a few doors down talking to four attractive women said, "You've gone past your room, Charles." I quickly replied "Oh, I thought these were the ladies that I asked you to arrange for me this evening." Everyone thought that was a great quick retort.

I can't wait to see what changes occur on the next R & R trip. Heck, I can't wait for the next R & R trip, period.
