Labels

Today was a red shirt day. I felt stronger, gained three pounds in the previous 24 hours and things were under control.

One of the things that seems to have helped is Pedialyte, which boosts electrolytes. At first the research manager was skeptical about this item, but it passed when compared to Gatorade.

The research manager is very vigilant about labels, always on the prowl for sugar content in all its various forms. (Sugar is a no-no), artificial stuff, the wrong kind of oil, and gmo's et cetera.

I sometimes feel that the research manager has never met a label that she liked.

That is why  things like avocadoes, spinach, kale, tomatoes, watermelon, pineapple et cetera are on the good list. They don't have labels.

When I think about it, homemade chocolate cake doesn't have a label either.

What do you think? Should I try it?
