Today was a better day.
I had a slightly better sleep, not perfect, but better.
I played tennis this morning and lost by a close margin. 6-2 is pretty close when you consider that we had a few deuce games that we lost.
I went to Bradenton with the research manager for one of her Guardian ad Litem visits and then we went to play bridge in Sarasota. We did alright and it was fun. Afterward, we went to what is now called the Sea Hut for scallops and a great spinach salad.
The big news of the day is that my most recent CEA test has come back. This is a cancer marker. In early April, it was 8.5. A normal person scores between 0 and 2.5. In early June, the number had dropped to 4.0, still high. However, this past week, it was 2.5. I am happy and the research manager is ecstatic. The chemo and her supplements and diet regime have worked wonders.
One of the challenges is making sure that the various treatments do not counteract each other. The research manager is on the case and we will be asking questions of the alternate treatment doctor before we jump in whole hog. Some of these treatments may have to wait till after the chemo ends.
Tonight, I am not going to wait until Cash Cab ends. I intend to have a good sleep tonight.
