Water Everywhere

A pretty good day.

I had a decent sleep and am making some progress on my paradoxical diarrhea issue. I found out tonight that it is a common ailment among old cats.

I mentioned the need for attention to a clogged toilet yesterday. No luck on our part. So, we called a plumber. He walked in, plunged the toilet and voila, it was fixed. The research manager asked how he did it and said that she had tried to plunge the toilet, as had I. Was the plunger we were using not effective. The plumber said the problem was not with the plunger, it was the plungee!

On the subject of water, our upstairs neighbors had a water leak and we had water all over the kitchen. Just something to fill in part of a busy day.

I got a fair number of things done today and did my errands. We are finalizing the monthly bulletin for the club and so things have been a little busy. Nonetheless, we did go to play bridge and won again.

Tomorrow is a big day. We have not had a chance to talk to the doctor or nurse practitioner at the cancer center, but want to decide on whether to take a brief holiday from the chemo. The theory is that I am sufficiently tired and run down from the side effects, that I need to build myself up again. I thought we might deal with some of that today, but no luck.

I'll keep you posted.
