I am finally feeling a little better this evening.
Having said that, I can report that, as of today, I weigh 100 pounds less than I did in 1997 when I was diagnosed as having diabetes. Shedding 5 pounds a year is pretty good. Losing 30 pounds in 3 months might not be as healthy. I have been trying to eat as much as possible.
I have a friend in England that hates the idea of Egg McMuffins, but this evening, I ate two of them. Because of weird pricing, I got 2 for $4.28 instead of 1 for $3.39. Good deal, eh?
I was raised very strictly, no dancing, no movies, no alcohol, no card playing (oops!)
I recall my dad getting frustrated and exclaiming that something was enough to drive him to drink.
I know the feeling. The side effects of the chemo are enough to drive me to medical marijuana!
I had a conversation with a doctor this evening and am making an appointment that will begin a complicated process to get to use some form in my treatment.
It may not help, but if I do it the wrong way, I won't care!
