I felt pretty good today. I wore a red shirt and everything went well.
I did my tennis, my breakfast routine and did some work at my computer. We played bridge this afternoon and again did okay.
But a few interesting things happened.
I know that I have lost weight ( I am at my lowest weight in a long time), but the research manager pulled up to a parking spot at dinner tonight (Ha Long Bay - where else?) and left me only 6 inches to get out of the car. I convinced her that I was not Gumby and she backed out the car and gave me a little more room.
My dry mouth issues continue (10 days after chemo) and I also find myself getting cold more often. I got yet another dry mouth treatment suggestion today. It is that you go to bed with a hard candy between your cheek and your gum. How it could help me if you go to bed with a hard candy in your mouth is beyond me!
Apparently, a pebble works to create saliva also. I presume that you should not go to sleep that way.
Finally, we continue to listen to "The Truth About Cancer." It is a series that focuses on alternate cancer therapies.
Tonight, I heard that the curcumin is very good and that juicing is very good. Apparently, I should up my wheatgrass to at least 4 ounces a day.
The last item was doing viral therapy, which attacks cancer cells and cancer stem cells. The treatment Rigvir Viral Therapy caught my attention. It is offered in Cancun and Baja by Hope4Cancer.
Hmmm.....now I can dream of spending a few weeks in Baja. I will sleep well with a candy in my mouth and dreams of Mexican beach life in my head!
Good night!
