Exciting Life

Today was a little tough.

I got up early to deliver my stool samples to the lab and came back to the condo. I spent a little time talking to my tennis buddies and then went home for breakfast and various work activities.

I saw the eye doctor early afternoon. My eyes are doing fine despite the fact that I have gone 10 weeks since the last injections. The reason? One of the chemo drugs is Avastin which was the original medicine for Macular Edema. As a result, my eyes get treated every two weeks and I don't need the injections.

After a superfood smoothie (yesterday's was better), we headed off for the GI doctor. He determined that my situation was sufficiently serious that I am going in tomorrow for an examination under anaesthesia. I am so happy with this.

Despite discomfort, we went to play bridge this evening. It keeps my mind off other things! Everyone was wonderful in helping get the game going and finished.

And now, here I am multitasking - doing this blog, watching baseball and waiting for cash cab.

Life is exciting isn't it? Maybe that is why my blood pressure is high sometime.
