I bet you thought that I forgot you. Here it is 10 minutes into July 2 and not a word about July 1.
I am late because of a wonderful Canada Day party that resulted in my getting home just before midnight and my computer was in an ornery mood.
So, July 1 was another good day. The normal tennis, then breakfast routine. After some urgent work to get the club's monthly bulletin out, we went shopping.
Here's a hint. If you are getting chemo you should not volunteer to go looking for things that are cold. But, oh no, not me. I volunteered to run off and find the hot dogs. I found them, but then really annoyed my fingers carrying them back to the research manager and her shopping cart. I think she hides with the cart. But that didn't teach me, I then ran off to get the frozen potatoes to make poutine for the party. Another cold finger mistake. Darn that neuropathy.
But I survived. I still have fingers. And we ended up having a great party. There weren't a lot of veggies on the food table, but there was watermelon.
Not much more to report. I will go to bed.
Someone commented that I stayed up late the other night when I said that I was going to bed just after 10. But that was early. Heck, Cash Cab runs from 11 to 12 weeknights. I go to bed late, but I get up early to make up for it!
A quick note: With this post, the blog will go over 10,000 page views. I have done 103 blogs. Thanks for your interest.
